The Christmas Clapback

Synopsis:

Every year the three Miles sisters, Jasmine, Kira, and Tisha, battle each other for a chance to win the neighborhood Christmas Church Cook-Off competition. But when Aaliyah, the vivacious Social Media Influencer, enters the competition, the sisters must choose to rise together, or fall divided.

Quick Thoughts:

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect going into “The Christmas Clapback”. While the premise felt a bit similar to many cheesy Hallmark films, it also seemed rather unique by focusing on three sisters. (Although even THAT has been done before in queer holiday films!) What I wasn’t expecting was how much I enjoyed watching everything unfold. Most surprising is that the Miles sisters’ competition actually turns into a love interest for Tisha! Overall, it was an entertaining holiday film with a lesbian holiday romance built in. The ending is a bit cheesy and cliche, but I don’t mind when it still puts a smile on my face. Check out “The Christmas Clapback” if you’re looking for a good lesbian holiday film!
