The Groomsmen First Look

This is the first in a trilogy of films that Hallmark released in late 2024. Jonathan Bennet stars as one of the three groomsmen in what some have called the male version of “The Bridal Veil”. The main cast are in all three films, but this first film focuses on Pete’s growing long-distance relationship with Chelsea. However, it’s clear that the true story of all three films is the friendship between the three boys. Meeting as childhood friends, it’s clear that their friendship has lasted for years. Perhaps to the point the three of them can be rather annoying to others! But that’s part of what makes this trilogy enjoyable to watch. My only irk with this first entry is that we’re left on a cliffhanger – and don’t yet know why a different bride is retelling everyone’s story. But if you’re going to watch the trilogy, you gotta start at the beginning!
