I’ll Meet You At Christmas

(Te Encontro no Natal)

Synopsis:

Arthur, an introspective and charming young man, experiences a Christmas that promises to transform his life. Sharing moments with his sister Manu and friend Gabi, he confronts his insecurities while building a special connection with Felipe, a witty boy who lives thousands of miles away in Chicago. Between virtual conversations, Christmas decorations, and mishaps with his cat, Arthur discovers that opening his heart can be the greatest gift of all. In a tender ending, Christmas reveals itself as a moment of courage, love, and new possibilities.

Quick Thoughts:

So I have to confess – I don’t know how this queer holiday short got into my personal collection, and finding enough information about it to add to the Database was rather difficult! But perhaps that’s a good thing, as this queer short feels like it should’ve been even shorter. Two gay boys are chatting online and having a long distance “relationship” but have not yet met. While the ending is cute, I was bored watching Arthur and his sister was the only fun in this short. So perhaps it’s a good thing that you cannot find it, as there are other queer holiday shorts that are more accessible and more interesting to watch!
