Cam Boy

Synopsis:

When Aston finds himself left to his own devices with bills to pay while his boyfriend is in New York, he turns to camming to make ends meet.

Quick Thoughts:

I actually enjoyed “Cam Boy”! This series was filmed entirely during the Covid lockdowns, which actually directly ties into the storyline. Aston is stuck back home in Canada, the cafe he works at is dead, and he’s left with needing to find money to pay all the bills for his recently deceased mother’s house. Now, did all of us consider becoming a cam boy (whether during the lockdowns or even since)… Nope! At least not seriously. But it’s actually cute in that he has absolutely no idea how to cam – which leads to quite a few comedic moments because of that.

Oh, and there’s plenty of nudity – if that’s what gets you watching a show. But overall, “Cam Boy” is a glimpse of our recent history, sprinkled with a bit of humor. It’s worth the watch.
