Adam & Steve

Synopsis:

Adam and Steve are two gay youths who have a one-night stand that ends embarrassingly. Nearly two decades later, Adam, now a Manhattan tour guide, and Steve, a psychiatrist, meet again — but neither remembers the other from years before. The two begin dating, even playing matchmaker for their friends Michael and Rhonda, but their promising relationship hits a major snag when Adam and Steve finally recall their past connection.

Quick Thoughts:

“Adam & Steve” is one of my favorite queer comedy films. It’s quirky, a bit absurd, and is full of unique characters with a fun storyline. But I think I enjoy this queer film most because our leads aren’t Abercrombie models or stuck up A-list gays. Adam and Steve aren’t perfect, and their romantic relationship is certainly not without comedic issues! But this is a film where despite all of that, our leads end up together as a cute couple. With tons of comedy and jokes, it’s also enjoyable to watch. So add this queer film to your watch list, as “Adam & Steve” is definitely worth watching!
