Quick Thoughts:
Even though Danny is introduced in the first film, it’s during this second entry of the trilogy where Danny’s story explodes. And we get our true queer film! Of course, the entire premise behind Danny and Zach’s hidden relationship is a tad cliche: realizing you’re in love with your best friend – who is getting married to someone else. But I’m a sucker for a cheesy gay romcom – so I LOVED it! Although I might have actually loved Ophilia’s quirkiness more… shh! Granted, in typical Hallmark fashion, it’s a rather tame film with just the iconic gay kiss at the end. But even that doesn’t bug me here, as it’s nice to watch a film where guys are not falling into bed right away. So while it’s best to watch all three films, “The Groomsmen: Second Chances” is a decent gay film to enjoy by itself.
