Synopsis:
Thoroughly disgruntled, Santa (Goodman) opts to take a year off from delivering presents, until a young man helps him rediscover the meaning of the holidays.
Quick Thoughts:
If you’re a fan of the iconic Rankin & Bass’ “The Year Without A Santa Claus”, then do NOT watch this live adaptation! The sad thing is that I think a live adaptation would be amazing. But they rewrote and worked classic elements here that remove much of what makes the original so enjoyable. Pair that with horrible casting and overacting, and it’s just not worth your time. Save yourself and watch the original animated special.
