Hosted by modern day horror hosts and “queens of darkness” The Boulet Brothers, The Boulet Brothers’ Halfway to Halloween TV Special will be a mid-year variety show celebrating the “Halfway to Halloween” season for fans who just can’t wait until October 31 to get a good dose of the dark side.
Quick Thoughts:
This TV Special come as a bit of a surprise, partly because it premiered in April – nowhere near Halloween and probably the least likely time we’d expect something related to Halloween! However this special was quirky, campy, and fun! Instead of continuing the competition formula the Boulet Brothers have mastered, this special consists of various skits featuring many of the queens from Dragula seasons. While the horror and gore are still lurking in the room, the camp and dark comedy add a breath of fresh air to this special. This is a TV Special that even those who are not avid fans of “Dragula” will enjoy!
