Quick Thoughts:
I started to watch “Single, Out” because it appealed to me. However, I’m still on the fence about the entire series – and that’s even as I understand the nuances of Australian humor! Season 1 had enough drama to draw me in, and the budding romances were cute at times. But I easily got lost between actors who look too similar, timelines that jumped around, and a mix of too many side stories going on with such short episodes. Those issues did not improve through Season 2 and 3. Yet I still found myself watching this series and will likely tune in for their final Season 4. I also applaud them for including a myriad of queer characters including pansexual, non-binary, and a even bisexual representation. How the series wraps up will determine my overall thoughts. I don’t hate it, but not sure I’m a fan yet.
