Synopsis:
Quick Thoughts:
“Shut Up & Kiss Me” is an indie gay film with a limited budget that written by the same guy who plays the lead, Ronnie Kerr. Thankfully he did not attempt to try and direct the film as well, but that’s only a partial saving grace. If you’re expecting a well written gay romance with a great cast and a believable happy ending – this isn’t that kind of film. However, it’s not as horrible as many make it out to be. They attempt to address the stigmas of dating someone who is HIV positive, and someone who is also non-monogamous. As the drama unfolds, it’s clear that’s not for everyone. Should Ben have settled in the end? Well, I leave that for you to decide – along with whether you enjoy “Shut Up & Kiss Me” overall.
