Hurricane Bianca: From Russia With Hate

Synopsis:

Released from prison, ex-teacher Deborah Ward seeks revenge on Richard Martinez, the cross-dressing co-worker who outed her practice of having sex with male students. Hearing of Russia’s terrible treatment of homosexuals (far worse than Texans can), she tricks her former colleague to fly there over spring break, hoping he’ll get unceremoniously imprisoned for his homosexuality. Complicating matters is Rex, Richard’s mind-fried druggie friend, and Deborah’s simple-minded daughter, Carly, who wants her deflated fake boobs restored.

Quick Thoughts:

This sequel comedy from the crazy mind of Bianca Del Rio will either be a queer film you’ll love – or you’ll hate. As with the first film, don’t expect a lot. The plot is actually worse and so far-fetched it’s not even funny. Rex either adds a comedy that was missing from the first film – or he ruins the sequel.
But if you can look past all of that, or don’t care, then there are some great moments where “Hurricane Bianca: From Russia With Hate” shines! I actually loved Katya as our Russian drag queen and potential love interest with Bianca. With this in mind, the entire Russian angle makes sense. And you cannot ignore that the entire film is pure camp. So if you loved the first film, give this queer sequel a shot!
