“Drag Race Philippines” is the tenth international franchise, yet the first foreign spinoff to receive an Untucked! Instalment. Yet it’s easy to see why since drag is a bit different in the Philippines – and quite enjoyable to watch! Many were anticipating Jiggly Caliente, who competed on Drag Race season 4 to host this spinoff, however she is one of th permanent judges. Paolo Ballesteros is actually the host, and he is part of why “Drag Race Philippines” is worth watching! The only thing that sorta irks me is that everyone switches between Tagalog and English so fast, and sometimes mid-sentence! Yet it’s such a key aspect of Filipino culture that adds that extra touch of the Philippines to this spinoff.
