Death Drop Gorgeous

Synopsis:

A dejected bartender and an aging drag queen try to survive the eccentric and hostile nightlife of a corrupt city, as a masked maniac slaughters young gay men and drains them of blood.

Quick Thoughts:

“Death Drop Gorgeous” is a queer slasher film that sounds like a fun time – until you start to watch it. This indie film certainly has many issues that make it a tad difficult to watch, and that’s not just due to it’s low budget. It’s also a prime example of why the “triple threat” of directing, writing, and acting is so elusive and fails more often than not! However it’s not all bad. And I actually didn’t mind the low-budget cinematography because it actually gave this horror film some atmosphere that the script and bland acting failed to provide. Give it a watch and see what you think, you may find it entertaining.
