Synopsis:
The second edition of RuPaul’s Drag Race vs The World will be hosted in Canada with many queens from various Drag Race franchises going missing from social media. The season was officially confirmed by Canada’s Drag Race on Instagram on June 9, 2022 by Brooke Lynn Hytes with confirmation of a 2022 release.
Quick Thoughts:
Following the success of the “UK vs The World” all-stars spinoff, now it’s time for Canada to shine – and compete against some international queens for the chance to be crowned the “Queen of the Mother-Pucking World”. With the same hosts & judges as “Canada’s Drag Race”, we’ve only been treated to one season thus far – but the second season is coming this year! Hopefully the cast will be a bit more internationally rounded, as all of season 1 queens are from English-speaking countries. But like all of the all-star spinoff formats, these global competitions are certainly worth watching!
