A Christmas In New York

Synopsis:

Several guests come to terms with love and its countless complications over the course of one night in an upscale Manhattan hotel.

Quick Thoughts:

I’ve had “A Christmas In New York” on my watch list for a few years, but never got around to watching it during the holiday season til now. Clearly I wasn’t missing anything! It’s kinda a queer holiday film, in that one of the multiple storylines of this ensemble film includes a lesbian couple. However, none of the storylines were remotely captivating – and many went nowhere. Our token queer plot had our two working lesbians fighting over having a child, to the point of ending their relationship. But as always happens in these ensemble movies, they make up before the end. And then everyone just leaves the hotel. Frankly, it was boring and not worth watching. Skip “A Christmas In New York”, even though it has a lesbian couple.
