The Christmas Baby

Synopsis:

A couple receives a baby boy before Christmas with a note meant for them. While temporarily caring for him during the holiday rush, they navigate their relationship, careers, and the foster-to-adopt process.

Quick Thoughts:

I actually adored this lesbian Hallmark holiday movie! While Hallmark has pulled back a bit on gay holiday films, they’ve actually branched out into their sapphic content in a way that is pleasantly surprising. And while we’ve seen the trope of a random baby left for our leads to learn to love from Hallmark before, it’s clear that they know that it’s a trope that easily draws your heart into the story. Both of our leads are wonderful at showing us the range of emotions in such a situation, but it’s clear that not only are they truly there for each other, they are perfect to become mothers to baby Nicholas. I highly encourage giving “The Christmas Baby” a watch this holiday season!
