Now, this special holiday episode of Ru’s “The RuPaul Talk Show” is very difficult to find online – and perhaps that’s a good thing! If you’ve seen “RuPaul’s Christmas Ball”, that 1993 special makes this 1997 special look even more amateur. Ru’s bitchiness and campiness comes thru big time, and there’s even a bit of “acting” pushback against her producers shown in this episode. Which actually reflects what was going on with his “Ho Ho Ho” Christmas album. It’s essentially been buried, but unless you want to do deep digging for it, it deserves to stay buried. However, for those who truly want to experience this special, someone has uploaded it to YouTube. But you’ve been warned!
