Risk Disclosure – Claude Chat & Cowork Archive System Starter Kit

Last updated: 26 August, 2026

Please read this in full before installing any MCP, skill, or workflow in the Claude Chat & Cowork Archive System Starter Kit.

This is a self-install, third-party toolset — not an Anthropic product

The MCP servers, Claude skills, n8n workflows, and GitHub template in this Kit were built by Michael Deibert of Queer Film Reviews, LLC.

They are not built, reviewed, endorsed, nor supported by Anthropic. Anthropic is not responsible for anything this Kit does once installed on your system.

Installing a custom MCP means trusting the builder

When you install a custom MCP server (like the Chat Archiver or Session Archiver), you are granting it the ability to run code on your machine, read and write files, and interact with connected services (GitHub & Google Drive) on your behalf — the same way Claude’s own documentation warns you to trust the publisher before installing any Claude Desktop extension or custom MCP.

You should review the .mcpb packages and any credentials/scopes they request before installing, the same way you would for any third-party software. If you’re not comfortable auditing the code yourself, have someone who can review it before you connect it to real accounts, real GitHub repos, or real client/business data.

There is a genuine, unresolved gray area regarding Claude’s Terms of Service

This is the part most kits like this one won’t tell you, and it needs to be said plainly:

Nothing in this system extracts, exposes, or stores anything you couldn’t already access yourself directly.

Claude Chat transcripts do not compact. You can open any chat and read the entire conversation in the app or browser. The chat batch workflow only automates that same manual step across many chats in sequence, instead of you opening each one individually.

Claude Cowork sessions also retain their full transcript – even after the visible working context compacts. (Cowork and Code compaction exists for performance/workability, not to hide or delete history.) The Cowork batch workflow reads that same underlying data through backend session files.

These files are generated by Claude during your sessions, but they live on your own system/infrastructure – not on Anthropic’s. You are not extracting anything from Anthropic’s servers, only from your own local session history which are saved as physical files on your drive.

That said:

  • Automating and batch-processing an action that Anthropic’s interface expects a human to do one chat/session at a time is a gray area.
  • Anthropic’s Terms of Service, Usage Policies, or rate/automation restrictions could reasonably be read to cover this kind of activity, and Anthropic can change those terms, or the way sessions/transcripts are stored and accessed, at any time without notice.
  • A change on Anthropic’s end could turn something that works fine today into something that violates the Terms tomorrow, with no advance warning to you or to us.

In plain terms: there is a risk that using automated batch-archiving against your Claude account could be interpreted as a Terms of Service violation, up to and including account suspension or termination, now or after a future policy change.

Queer Film Reviews, LLC does not have a way to guarantee that could never happen. But neither does anyone else selling similar tools.
