Rick and Morty

Synopsis:

Rick is a mentally-unbalanced but scientifically gifted old man who has recently reconnected with his family. He spends most of his time involving his young grandson Morty in dangerous, outlandish adventures throughout space and alternate universes. Compounded with Morty’s already unstable family life, these events cause Morty much distress at home and school.

Quick Thoughts:

I’ll be frank – I never found the appeal for “Rick and Morty”, though I have enjoyed other similar adult animation series. However since the first season, many fans assumed that Rick was pansexual which places him as one of the oldest mainstream pansexual characters. For those who watch the TV series, it’s apparently clear that he is attracted to everyone around him. Yet at no point does he actually come out as pansexual. Thankfully, during a Comic Con panel in 2015, creator and the character’s voice actor Justin Roiland stated that Rick IS pansexual. I likely won’t get around to watching this pansexual series, but I’m sure many of you may enjoy “Rick and Morty”.
