With the success of the UK and Thailand spinoffs, Canada was the next country to join the ranks! Led by “Drag Race” Season 11’s runner-up Brooke Lynn Hytes,this version focuses on Canadian queens while using the same format as “Drag Race”. In addition to the cultural differences of Canadian queens, the aspect of “Canada’s Drag Race” I found most enjoyable is that it’s the first international spinoff that is not hosted by RuPaul! While it was a bit odd at first, but it makes sense because the queens can connect better with a local host. And Brooke Lynn-Hytes does an amazing job hosting!
