Synopsis:
Follows Matt Rogers as he attempts to win approval as the next “Pop Prince of Christmas, featuring original holiday pop music and stand-up comedy from himself and guest stars Bowen Yang, Josh Sharp and Aaron Jackson.
Quick Thoughts:
I’m cautious about including specials, however Matt Rogers is a gay singer and actor – so his special certainly is a queer holiday one! I actually had not heard any of his Christmas songs prior to watching this special, but I quite enjoyed them. I wasn’t too big a fan of the scenes in between the numbers, made Matt seem whiney and full of himself. But overall, it was an enjoyable queer holiday special that’s worth watching!
