Synopsis:
A separated couple tries celebrating one last Christmas together with their kids before their divorce. However, the husband’s new girlfriend joins the festivities, causing tension and chaos during the holidays.
Quick Thoughts:
While this holiday film is not centered around a queer couple, it’s still quite entertaining! And don’t worry, there still is queer representation, as Everett’s parent’s are two gay dads. Their elderly gay relationship is rather cute to watch, if a bit stereotypical. The rest of the film follows some of the typical cliche holiday movie tropes, especially the ones regarding exes! However the end result is something that is captivating to watch and endearing in the end. If you’re looking for something new for 2025, this queer holiday film is enjoyable to watch!
