We’re Here

Synopsis:

Small-town residents from across America are recruited and trained to participate in a one-night-only drag show. In each episode, former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O’Hara and Shangela Laquifa Wadley will help prepare their “drag daughters” by teaching them how to step outside of their comfort zones.

Quick Thoughts:

I didn’t watch “We’re Here” until right as Season 4 started airing – and I have no answer to why I didn’t watch it earlier! There’s always something unique and captivating with all queer makeover/transition reality-tv shows. “Queer Eye” set the stage many years ago, bringing change into the lives of normal people. But this time, they upped the ante: it’s drag queens who are bringing the fabulousness! And you couldn’t find better drag queens than Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka, and Shangela. Now, it is still a reality-tv show so there are moments of poor hand-held camera work. But it still works to draw you into each episode’s story. If you haven’t seen “We’re Here” yet, go watch it today!
