Drag Race Belgium

(Drag Race Belgique)

Synopsis:

For the first time in its herstory, Belgium is welcoming the most glamorous drag competition. Hosted by the great French-Canadian diva, Rita Baga, Drag Race Belgique will demonstrate the immense talent and creativity of its drag scene. So be prepared for their audacity and authenticity!

Quick Thoughts:

“Drag Race Belgium” is one of the newest spinoffs in the “Drag Race” franchise, first premiering in 2023. What has stood out about this franchise is that the host is actually not from Belgium! Instead, Rita Gaga is a French-Canadian queen who competed on “Canada’s Drag Race” season 1. However, Rita soon explained why she was chosen: as a Quebecois queen she speaks French fluently, in addition to being an outside for the smaller Belgium drag scene. And we love her! “Drag Race Belgium” is one of my favorite franchises, partly because of Belgium’s unique culture
