Synopsis:
Quick Thoughts:
“Every Day” is a family drama that shows how a major change can stir up multiple other issues among family members and create a messy situation. However, there are some heartwarming moments when things start to align and resolve themselves. This film is included in the database for two reasons. Not only is the elder son, Jonah, gay and we see him struggle with discovering himself while his dad struggles to cope with the realities of a gay son. But the father’s boss is also stereotypically gay – and rather annoying if I’m honest! However, the heart of the film is all of their struggles with the health conditions of the wife’s father. “Every Day” is a film that you watch when you want confirmation that despite all of the struggles your own family may have to cope with, things do resolve themselves with a bit of understanding and time.
