Quick Thoughts:
I’ve yet to find anyone able to pull of the cinematic “hat trick” of writing, directing, and starring in a film – and it certainly is not Paul Bright for this travesty! The unfortunate bit is that I actually found the core premise of the plot promising. But the poor writing, abysmal acting (or over-acting) and too many major plot holes ruined the film – even for a low-budget indie film. And while I usually am not one to shy away from a gay romance, the connection between Greg and Danny was way too “familial” and awkward. Altitude Falling is one of the reasons I watch and provide my thoughts on queer films – so that you don’t have to watch the crappy ones. Save yourself the time – watch something else.
