The Humans

Synopsis:

Set inside a pre-war duplex in downtown Manhattan, The Humans follows the course of an evening in which the Blake family gathers to celebrate Thanksgiving. As darkness falls outside the crumbling building, mysterious things start to go bump in the night and family tensions reach a boiling point.

Quick Thoughts:

Alright, I was so bored trying to watch “The Humans” that halfway though I had little desire to keep watching. But I pushed through (while working on stuff on the side) – it did not get any better. Apparently this is a horror type film, and not just the usual drama that Thanksgiving dinners often bring out. There are plenty of bumps and noises that attempt this, but honestly I found them to be more distracting than frightening. The only thing frightening was how bored I was. Skip this queer holiday drama and save yourself the torture of sitting through it!
