Pecker

Synopsis:

A Baltimore sandwich shop employee becomes an overnight sensation when a photographer’s photos he’s taken of his weird family become the latest rage in the art world.

Quick Thoughts:

Pecker is a film that I first watched years ago. I need to give it a good rewatch to fully breakdown how this John Walters film stands the test of time, but I enjoyed this film. It’s crass and leaves very little hidden! But that’s also part why I enjoyed it. Pecker becomes famous for photographing real people in awkward situations; and perfectly flips the tables around to highlight issues between the classes! I think it’s one of John Walter’s better films, and fully worth watching.
