Bro

(Mon Pote)

Synopsis:

Two friends are sitting on a wall and chatting in the middle of nowhere. While one is describing an incident that took place in the village, the other’s mind seems to be elsewhere.

Quick Thoughts:

This is an intriguing short film, one that really digs into the subtleties to pull out the latent homosexual undertones. The dialogue really doesn’t matter, as it’s the glances and the lingering look as the one guy watches his friend walk away. Quite powerful story in the subtext actually – and it’s laid out in a very succinct timeframe. Worth the quick watch!
