Golden Delicious

Synopsis:

When basketball-obsessed Aleks moves across the street, Asian-Canadian teen Jake finds himself trying out for the basketball team to get his attention in this classic coming-of-age drama in the digital age.

Quick Thoughts:

I haven’t yet watched “Golden Delicious” – although it’s now on my Watch List! One thing is clear though: this is a queer coming of age and a coming-out story, but with an extra cultural layer – and one that involves the entire family. Reviews seem to be mixed, however those who rated “Golden Delicious” lower tend to be of the mindset of “seen this before”. So if you get a chance to watch it before me, send me a message and let me know your thoughts!
