Synopsis:
When basketball-obsessed Aleks moves across the street, Asian-Canadian teen Jake finds himself trying out for the basketball team to get his attention in this classic coming-of-age drama in the digital age.
Quick Thoughts:
I haven’t yet watched “Golden Delicious” – although it’s now on my Watch List! One thing is clear though: this is a queer coming of age and a coming-out story, but with an extra cultural layer – and one that involves the entire family. Reviews seem to be mixed, however those who rated “Golden Delicious” lower tend to be of the mindset of “seen this before”.
