Where to Watch, Steam, Rent, or Buy:
From the advent of cinema, we have always wanted to watch films: both old classics and the new. Over time, the ways to watch films have greatly changed. Before VHS was developed, that required visiting a cinema. VHS created the home cinema atmosphere that has morphed into the current world where watching films and TV shows are a way to escape and enjoy ourselves.
But amid this drastic change, there is now a LOT of ways to actually watch everything. No longer must you buy the film itself of DVD – you can rent it digitally, or even stream it! Streaming services are becoming as abundant as cable channels, with more and more options being created each year. But where do we find LGBTQ specific content? Many of the major options include Queer content; many even have created dedicated sub-channels. However there are also many LGBTQ specific sites that have sprung up.
Shown below are many of the common places online you can find LGBTQ content to watch. However, I’m sure there are some that I’ve still missed. If there’s a source that you think I’ve left out or was not aware of, then send me a message!
